It is interesting to see that the EU is experiencing a similar aging farmer demographic, as here in the Americas. In an effort to combat this worrisome demographic, they are dedicating millions of Euros for rural development, in effort to encourage younger farmers to farm. This info graphic also reveals that Europe's farms are consolidating and becoming larger.
