Greenhouse Farming and it's advantages

Greenhouse is a structure with covering (glass / plastic / specialized materials) which is used to control temperature, humidity and provide protection to plants.

The materials come in different color, size and thickness, choosing materials carefully will help you have the best greenhouse for your situation.

Advantages of Greenhouse

Greenhouse controls temperature:
Greenhouse design allows light in and it's absorbed by objects inside the greenhouse and turns into heat energy which is not permitted to escape.

In Greenhouse, air temperature will not exceed the outside temperature.

Ventilation panels can be opened to reduce temperature if it gets too hot, because temperature fluctuation can stress plants and slow growth.

Control Pests:
Pests can't enter easily as they could if your plants were just out in the open because greenhouse has a pretty good covering.

Controls Humidity:
In greenhouse air-tight covering causes it to become quite hot and humid during day time.  Once the air becomes humid, it's difficult for plants to lose water through evaporation.
This helps to keep everything from drying out on a hot sunny day. Therefore, it's essential to have air circulation to exhaust excessive humidity and regulate air exchange.

Protects plants from adverse weather conditions:
Greenhouse gives protection against excessive rainfall which creates powdery mildew and mold that can affect the final crop.

Greenhouse protects your plant from heavy storms and in areas where frosts are common.

Storms can't blow your plants, when they are safely inside green house and also helps protects the plants in areas where frosts are common.
