Black Soil conditions suited for growing cotton loamy soil
Climate: Cotton needs warm and moist climate where summer is long
Rainfall: Cotton needs 60 – 100 cm rainfall for cultivation
Land: Gentle slope or plain lands with drainage facilities is good for cotton production
Soil: Cotton grows well in black cotton soil. Loamy soil mixed with lime and potash is also good for cotton
Temperature: Grows well in a temperature of 24°C
