Land needs to be tilled one or two times before the seeds are broadcasted.
Above mentioned seeds need to be mixed thoroughly and broadcasted by hand.

Just before flowering of the crops (3 months time), if the land is slushy, the entire crops need to be tilled again so that the crops as well as soil mix thoroughly and allowed to decompose. If the land is not slushy, the entire crop needs to be cut at the base and allowed to decompose.

Mostly this needs to be done before the main crop is grown. If it is only for soil improvement it is better to do this during the rainy season.

If possible, apply top soil in your farm which is collected from the pond, tank etc., which is an excellent source of nutrient rich soil as most of the water that arrives in this place carry with them the top soil from many places and deposit them here.
